Angel Genesius Patrick

Born in the small city of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Angel was the fourth child and the second girl. Entering the world of theater was an adventure. It began at eight years old with, ironically, a failure. Forgetting the words to a children's song was not something she expected to happen. Angel for sure thought she would lose out on something she could not even describe. Yet she fully believed theater was where she was meant to be. In a twist of fate, she was still cast in the show. When that one ended she begged to do another, and then another. She was fully immersed into the fine arts and found happiness in performing. When Angel discovered what Broadway was, she looked at her mom and said “That’s my future.” With this realization, the harsh reality of theater sunk in. Angel started to get rejections and started to lose faith in her dreams. Yet theater was not ready to give her up and her passion was reignited. Angel graduated high school and further pursued her goals by furthering her education at college. She studied for five years at Belhaven University and there gained valuable knowledge not just in performing but technical theater as well.
